Week 9: From Superleagues to Sunday Climbing

Another busy week for the Westwood boarders has come to a close. On Friday evening the boarders enjoyed an additional evening trip to see Team Bath Netball play at home against the Strathclyde Sirens in the National Superleague, with the home side emerging victorious 51-47. The novelty and excitment of the occasion was embraced by all:

There is pending excitement for the House Music competition this Monday evening, furthered by the Easter holidays less than a week away. This said, in addition to the Netball, further channelling of this excitement took the form of our usual Saturday night movie. This week was a classic tale re-told: An Outlaw, robbing the rich to feed the poor and restoring glory to an otherwise corrupt and suppressed city of Nottingham: Robin Hood.

The final chapter in our three-part weekend adventure saw the boarders travel to Redpoint Climbing Centre in Bristol this afternoon. Herein, they were faced with a variety of outlandish climbing challenges, dares and trials, each testing the resolve and agility of our climbers; a lot of fun was had by all. Please take the time to enjoy the array of photographs below with a small slice of video action, too!

Looking ahead, we shall soon enjoy updating you with the events and awards following the Westwood House Music competition tomorrow night, which will mark the beginning of the end of the Spring Term. Until then, thank you for reading and best wishes for the week ahead.
