Day Two of the term and our first birthday!

The Westwood boarders have now met a number of their teachers, as well as their tutor, fellow tutees and some of their classmates. They had five lessons today and have enjoyed four Kingswood meals already!! Mrs Curtis, Mr Thatcher, Mr Edgell and I have been on duty so far. We celebrated William's Birthday this evening with delicious cupcakes made by Mrs Duke; they were very well-received. The singing of 'Happy Birthday' will hopefully improve through Music lessons! We are pleased with the start all the pupils have made because for many of them the culture and routine are very different. This weekend we will be doing 'déco-patch' first initials to help make the dormitories even more homely before heading to crazy golf. Mr Duke will take a good supply of spare golf balls!
