A Sunday Promenade in the countryside for Westwood Boarders

 Leading the way, Mrs M!
After the exertions of examinations, Sports Day and a highly busy and successful Open Morning, some Westwood Boarders headed to Avon Valley Country Park (http://www.avonvalleycountrypark.com) while others were involved in a long rehearsal for the forthcoming production. Our boarders supported ably by a small number of day pupils showed themselves to be articulate and confident individuals showing complete strangers around the House; their pride in the House is clear. There was some dancing from Street Dance activity, a discussion on philosophy put on by Mr Thatcher, delicious cookies baked by Mrs Jenner and some music performed by various Westwood artists for our guests to enjoy.  At Avon Valley Country park pupils enjoyed an assault course, feeding various animals and some pupils even handled a Barn Owl. The slides and climbing frames also proved popular. A gentle and relaxing afternoon out.
