FEB 5th 2014 WESTWOOD HOUSE CHARITY FUNDRAISING

 

Westwood pupils get ready for the LEPRA workout!

 

 

Already lots of pupils have collected money to support LEPRA, a health and development organisation whose mission statement is:

 

 

"To work to restore health, hope and dignity to people affected by leprosy, tuberculosis, malaria, HIV/AIDS, blindness and other health conditions exacerbated by stigma and social discrimination."

 

Year 7 girls (l tor) Holly, Eliza, Ella, Soraya, Freya and Libby proudly display their LEPRA envelopes containing the money they have each raised.

So far we have raised over £1400.  Really well done.



3rd FEB 2014 SPRING IS HERE? ...

Westwood boarders pose in front of a beautiful Spring sunrise sky, on their way to breakfast, with the school tower in the background ...

... celebrating their country ... and Chinese New Year, following a lovely supper with all the other boarders in the house.  Many thanks once again to the catering team.
