Farewell Year 8 Boarders, Mrs Mainwaring and Mr and Mrs Hollywell

A lovely final weekend was centred around Mr Hollywell's Mystery Tour. Our rounders match this morning was highly competitive, but Mr Duke's team edged home! The boarders came up with many plausible trips, but did not guess right. We headed for a final meal to ZaZa Bazaar on the Bristol Harbourside where you can eat all you can in two hours with food on offer from all over the globe. The pupils really enjoyed all the food on offer and some managed seven plates of food! Fortunately the stroll back to the minibuses allowed our food to settle!

It has been a great year with the Westwood Boarders and we will miss those returning home to their native countries, those moving to new schools and those moving to Senior Boarding Houses at Kingswood. We wish them well. We also say farewell to the staff who have been the mainstay of Westwood for 10 - 15 years - incredible service! Good luck, Mr and Mrs Hollywell and Mrs Mainwaring. We will miss you all! We will be welcoming 19 new recruits in September! Have safe journeys home and enjoy the summer break!
